Our Fell pony Jack has been at the yard Chloes pony club is at since November last year, his schooling has greatly improved, he is much less head strong and will canter with ease a 20 metre circle, he has slimmed down and is extremely fit and he has learned to jump and loves it!
Jack was supposed to come home the beginning of the summer but due to my accident I didnt think I would be able to look after him and thought it better he stayed where he was.

Chloe attends the pony club every weekend and goes to the yard any oppurtunity she can, her confidence and enthusiasm has soared around horses which makes me very happy. She will be a teenager this year and im glad she has got the horsey bug before her hormones start flying around the place. I know at her age I would of quite easily gone off the rails if it weren't for my horse to keep me on the straight and narrow, a good distraction from all other evils at that age

Anyway my recovery has been much quicker than I or the doctors could ever have imagined and I am already hacking out most days with Vel, Chloe wants to be out and about with me after school and has taken to leading our OAP Shettie out when I hack Vel, its quite clear she could do with her boy at home!

Chloe spends alternative weeks between mine and her dads and we have agreed with the yard Jack will be home the weeks Chloe is with me starting this wednesday.

Chloe will go to pony club and go to the yard after school the weeks she is at her dads and when she is home she will spend her time at the stables with me, Vel, Jack and Hugo.

We took Jack home last Monday and had him home till Friday, me and Chloe went for our first hack together on our own horses something both of us have waited years to do, it was better than either of us could ever have imagined!

Im very pleased with the set up we will have and Chloe is very excited to have her boy back home :)

Watch this space for a picture update on Wednesday :D
