The stables I ride at got a new horse about a month ago her name is Spring. I have ridden her twice now and on the second time, half way through the lesson I put my stirrups up for jumping. When I was doing this Spring bent her head round almost as if looking at me, then she did it the other side and repeated it a few times. Im just wondering why did she do this?
thanks :)

She might also have been taught to flex her neck at the end of a lesson.
So when you stopped to put up your stirrups she may have thought it was the end of her work and time to flex.
I do this when we've finished working and after a while the horse knows the routine and does it by themselves!
Sounds a cutey!

Aww she sounds cute, could be that she is being nosy, mine do it alot, or it could be that she has been taught to do it.
