Had a nice day today - stress free for a change! Total pointless post really!
My aunt and Jase took the trailer off to get some hay and bedding, they ended up filling it to the roof - 20 bales of hay, 15 bales of shavings, 5 bags of straw
Didnt get the shelves up but nevermind lol
Brought little Rowan [who is losing his dapples now] in to hoover up some of the hay on the ramp, who decided he would prefer the grass
He's only loaded twice with me - going from his old home to the livery, and then to the livery to my yard. Both times a total swine!
Lady who i'd been talking to earlier who's having problems with her horse load and clip [who shes asked me to work with to build both their confidence :D] she stopped by for a bit to watch me loading Rowan to see my words in action :D and with Katie about he had a little audience
He was very good, quite nervy and shaky going in [after the initial resisting] but i got him walking in and out calmly. Im really pleased too that i remember how to do all the confidence work with horses, its been a few years since so i was scared id forgotten it all
So a really nice day and a pleasing outcome that someones asked me to help [and clip] her neddy and Rowan got a step better at loading... and we're stocked up for a good white longer now.. Nice to have a stress and hassle free day at last :D
Yay :)
