Hi there, i was wondering if anyone could help me, I bought a horse and only got a passport with her which is in dutch however some translates to english. I have her breed and no breeding history. Is there any way at all i could find out any bloodlines? Thanks

There are various international bloodbank websites which you could try. What is her name and breed? If she's a Standardbred I may be able to help a little more.

she is a warmblood and called cartier, born 2006. Thanks, do you need type of warmblood?

Have you tried the all breeds pedigree website ? There are quite a few Cartiers there ... Arabians, KWPN, Oldenburg, and there are photos too if you click on the name with a red star. Might be worth a little look, and be prepared to give or take a year or change of spelling. Much can be lost in translation and time .

If she is kwpn they generally have a certificate which has the pedigree on is she imported? Branded? If she is a KWPN then C is the letter for all this years four year olds. If she is branded there should also be a number which should help track breeding etc

Thanks for the replies. She isn't a KWPN, and i have also been on a website which has brought up a few cartiers. But i wouldnt be sure that one of them is her, I will have a look again on google and see what comes up.
