My Weekend – Trip to see Tilly, and Bertie pics

I’ve had a brilliant horsey weekend – On Saturday morning I got Bertie clipped (hurray!), and he looks as handsome as ever and is feeling fresh with the wind between his knees!! Then Jane (Daytona) picked me up and off we went to see Claire and Tilly.

Tilly is the sweetest mare I’ve ever met, her little head is so sweet! She’s so quiet and gentle. Claire got on and had a walk round the school too, which made us all very happy! Here’s to Tilly being healthy and having the best owner she could ever need.

Then we all went to the pub - suprise suprise lol

So Sunday morning I hacked Bertie for an hour and a half with my friend, we went all through the woods, over the road and into the other woods. Bertie decided cantering with his jaw crossed and head in the air was lots of fun – he’s right, it was!!! He’s loving his hacking at the moment and we’re so happy.

Anyway, new haircut means he got to wear new rug last night. Yay!

When I left, Bertie decided it was time to be a grumpy old man and tell off all the younger boys. He chased them, tried to bite their bums and then marched them all up the field.
