No breeding history!!

Is there anyway of finding a sire or dam from buying a horse with only a passport which is in dutch?

no, she was imported from holland and i bought her as a 4 year old.

unfortunately if she was Hanno or Oldenburg you could work it out by her name but if she is KWPN then her name will just dictate her age, e.g anything 'C' is 5 this year and 'D' if 4

is she branded? that would help you trace her parentage or breeder perhaps

no i dont think she is branded. It says the yard in holland she was from but ive emailed them and had nothing back

Has she got a microchip?
If so find the number and then call the KWPN they speak very good english and are very helpful if she is registered with them the number should hopefully be on their system and they keep excellent records for breeding inspections etc
