Who has a Sheepskin Numnah??

Today I bought Ozzie a really lovely sheepskin numnah from Cottage Craft, they dont do a cob size only a full size, so I got it thinking it would be ok as I have a 17inch saddle but its HUGE! Could easily fit upto a 19" saddle, do these even exist?!?!
I only paid £42 for it (£86 in local tack shop) so it was an absolute bargain - my mum has suggested getting it made smaller?! Does anyone do this/know anything about it as im not sure whether its a good idea?!
Failing that it will be straight onto ebay which is a shame as its gorgeous :(
Does anyone know where I can get one that would fit my 17" saddle?

I use the Nuumed ones. Far better quality [IMO] than cottage craft. Was a tad too big for Spuds saddle, but one wash and it was fine :D

Hmmm.... I think I might need about 10 washes to make it fit!!! lol. What size is your saddle and did you go for a cob or a full size?

I dont think 19inch exist mine is an 18 and thats pretty huge, although some things arent big enough for it even full size some seem to class 17 as full

Thats what I thought. I only know one person with an 18" saddle and thats because its ancient, even when the saddler came out to look at him she was surprised to see it! The horses ownder struggles to get numnahs to fit. Im a bit miffed about why they have made this numnah so big! Ah well!

Mine was a fullsize, and it fit my 17.5" saddle - still fits now!
