Dya reckon he will overtake Lola? She is the bigger of the two parents, chester being about 14.1 when fully grown. However, we have been told that Lola should have made bigger, but due to the malnutrition she suffered as a baby (until she was 6 months old) and the fact she was put in foal so young, her growth was stunted??

He is certainly chunkier than Lola and his conformation is impeccible in comparison to hers!!

I do think he'll be bigger than Lola esp when u look at the last pic of them grooming and how bum high he is compared to Lola and the fact he isn't even 2 yet.

Hes lovely, would have him any day! How big do you think he is at the moment? its hard to say how big he will make, he might mature outwards more when he reaches a certin age.

He is staying put for the time being, and probably be with us for life! We would like him to stay here, and if he is anything like his mum thats a certainty.

Bec- if he made 15.3 we would be very happy!! I certainly cant see that somehow!

He is standing at about 14hh (just smaller than Sass who I sticked at 14.1 the otherday) at the moment, but his bum is higher than that I would say his bum is nearer the 14.3hh mark. He is also taking after his dad in that he is quite wide- especially in comparison to his mum who is very narrow!! That makes him look bigger in the pics. he is a may baby so is rising 16 months at the moment, so plenty of room for growing!!

Its taken a loooong time for me to bond with this little man, and even now im not quite 'there' yet- a lot of people struggle to understand that! Will keep you all updated with pics, and will try and get him to let me stick him in the next week or so so we can measure his progress!! He has turned into such a sweet boy- from the horse that wouldnt let us touch him, took 3 months to get near him, to a horse that follows you around the field with his nose on your back- its a massive difference!!
