I would show him bitted and in an inhand bridle which is havana leather. Work on getting him to trot out big and corners(babies don’t seem to be overly keen on turning!). When showing something new i always get someone to stand them up(or have someone watch me stand them up) and assess points of strength and weakness. Then work of fine tuning the way you stand the to accentuate the good points and cover the bad points. Also do this for the walk away and trot back. Some times with babies I would spend a good half hour just working on getting them to stand just right for them.

thanks for your replies. there is a picture of bailey in the horse pictures section with the rest of our herd so any comments on him would be good. thank you.
