foals loosing their coat?

The 2 babes -5 months- have started loosing their coats! Although they had a bad start in life-nutritionally- they are now out in the day and in at night on top quality food. Any ideas why, when its wet and cold this is happening please?

What do you mean by loosing them, as in completely loosing them bald or are they changing their coat colour??

Not bald, so are they changing their colour? Coats going thin though considering the weather....

Yer i would say they were changing their colour! What colour were they to start with?

Usually foalies will go through a coat change at around this age anyway - through their 'foalhood' they will change coats and usually colours too :D
