i answered an ad for two untouched mares, 4 and 5 yr olds. Only been headcollared for worming occasionally.

She was just relieved i wasn't asking what they were like ridden and what they were like to load (home bred, never been out of field....like it said in the advert!!!)

Some people are just open about their idiocy i guess!!!!

I like her style! I also like the horse, and I think she's a very reasonable price.

Oh dear. I don't envy anyone selling their horse. The idiots you have to deal with are amazing. I don't know what it is, but they're like moths to a flame.

My friend sells backed youngsters and some of the questions you get are unbelievable and that's aside from the timewasters.

One recent gem was a pony who was 4yo and advertised as such also said he was green and needed bringing on.
Girl came to try him but wouldn't ride him. Watched him being ridden and he was faultless - listened, was steady, turned from home on a hack (which a lot of horses won't do). She commented on how good he was. Then said she wasn't going to buy him because he was too young?!?!?! Ok, so nothing wrong with not wanting a young 'un, but that was clear from the beginning! Did dhe think he's age in a few days!?

I actually thought that some of the answers were a bit rude.. asking what the mares like with other horses is a perfectly acceptable question I'd have thought! xx

I thought some of the questions were very reasonable actually!! the spots one is stupid but yeah... I don't like the attitude of the owner and I wouldn't ring up about it!

Ditto Stacey and Welly. Most of the questions are entirely reasonable and the kind of thing we would encourage people to ask when calling about a horse.

I do know what you mean about the rudeness thing actually. She sounds very patronising and i would probs be put off when i ithink about it tbh. Even still, i think the idea is very good, answering some of the stupid question like the spot one!
