So this is a pointless self obsessed post, apologies in advance, but I'm just so fed up of having no horsey in my life right now. It's been about 4 years since I owned last and I miss it soooooo much!
I can't go over to the yard I used to spend all my time at anymore because they've now got guard geese and I can't risk that they might hurt Grace, they're horrible aggressive things - terrify me lol!
What I'd really like would be an ancient small saintly pony who I can play with and groom and who Grace can plod around on every now and again. When funds allow this will happen but until then I'm horseless and hating it!

Sorry for the pointless moan lol xx

Things happen for a reason and when it falls into place again it will be meant to be. Until then - I agree, it isn't nice being horseless :(

aww hun, don't know what else to say but think about all the dark nights, the cold and the mud you won't have to deal with this winter :)

If you were nearer you'd be more than welcome to come play with mine! xx

Big hugs!

Its a shame your so far away, you'd be more than welcome to come and play with Scottie and Rowan - Scottie would love a little ride out and about on the lanes!

Is there not someone around who has a little old pony that just wants some love and attention? there are often lead rein ponies that people want some extra help with we have one at work who has four kids come and ride her

Shame you live so far away-you would be welcome to use bambi! I would wait for a couple of years though until Grace will be able to ride proprerly and then go for it!

Thanks guys, I don't deserve sympathy am being pathetic! Am healthy and well and should not be complaining! I do miss it though lol! Will get lead rein pony soon as madam shows interest enough to warrant it lol!

Thanks for all your understanding - I may take those who have offered up on your offers, all gratefully received! Xx

I know how you feel too! I'm sick of being horseless. I need to do something with my spare time and i'm that desperate for a new horse that i don't mind trudging in the mud at all weathers, looking after them. Even if it was unbroken, it doesn't matter to me, i just want a new ponio!!

I get really depressed sometimes thinking about it and when i see everyones posts on there horses progress i just wish i could join in the fun but i have no horse of my own to post about! I don't know when it will happen, i guess now just isn't our time but hopefully for the future, all us un-horse owners will have our own again :D x

awww smelly come to mine! Sovereigns not small, old or saintly but she puts up with finn hitting her in the face and running between her legs and pulling her tale......not to mention all the sudden loud noises he makes or things he's just broken make!

You might have to wait a while for lead rein classes at shows though, most of the ones around here say kids have to be 5 to enter anything, even BTO LR.

Come here when your free and we'll make a whole day of pony pampering and pony rides - could even tie it in with a farrier visit....

You can have Mags. It'd take a lot of work to make her look pretty and you might look a bit odd in lead rein classes but she's very gentle!
