Thanks Jangles:) I'm very proud of my boy he's put up with me being so inexperienced, I've fiddle-faddled around, done stupid things too, but he always forgives. Must say though I couldn't have done it without the help of my YOs.

I'd forgotten you were on here as well as NR. He does look a lot like Magic and he looks so well since you've had him :)

He's lovely. A real picture of health now. It amazes me how some dealers think it's OK not to feed the horses they're trying to sell! Surely they'd get better money if they looked after them properly! You've done a wonderful job getting him back up to weight :)

He's a credit to you.
What sort of treeless saddle do you have on him?
Shaz, its a Copperbeech treeless, but I don't use it anymore. It was OK while he was growing and changing but have now invested in a made to measure leather treed saddle (Adam Ellis) its lovely!

Flipper, he was OK when I tried him out and he passed the 5 stage vetting fine with the comment that he could do with a bit of condition. He arrived about 10 days later then a couple of days after he arrived he developed a cough, snotty nose, and temperature. So I think he had gone downhill since the vetting. Must say in dealers defence I would go back to him if I needed another horse, no hard sell, and good quality horses. He was expensive though, but then dealers are in business to make money so to be expected really.
