Not the car - the horse!

Does anyone own an adopted BLM mustang? I've been trying to find adoption agencies around here that have them up for adoption because I really want to look into adopting one. Just wondering if anyone here has one and what they are like, what you use them for, etc! Of course I'd love some pictures!

I think owning one would make me feel like a real cowgirl, as corny as that may sound! I'd love to train one for barrels.

I dont think that many are imported here. I know someone who has Brumbies from the conservation trust who flew them over here, but i dont think that many BLM Mustangs are brought here. I dont think there will be many, if any trusts in the UK for Mustangs as they arent in threat over here, so im guessing your in the USA?


If you want a real cowgirl feeling, go for a Quarter horse? They're more commonly used for barrels :P

I don't know where you would get one from but I hope you post pictures on here when you do!! They're such a stunning breed.. although I've heard quite highly strung!!!
