Just in general terms of it's facilities and the way it's run?
Ours is nice, we have an american style barn as the stable block and about 50acres of grazing. Relatively good hacking but no school, the people that run the yard are lovely, they're more like friends really, they get us xmas presents, YO bakes a choc cake every sunday and will invite me for tea if OH is away. :p. If my yard had a school it would be absolutely perfect.
What's your yard and the people like?

First yard I was at with Ebony was small, had a sandschool and internal stables but hacking was rubbish unless you wanted to go for long hacks, turnout wasn't good either and verged on dangerous in the winter IMO. I had a really good friend at that yard, we did everything together and got on really well.
2nd yard I have been at was big but didn't have many liveries, had a smallish sandschool outside, fantastic off road hacking, stables in a huge american barn but very dusty. Didn't really gel with the other liveries as we always missed eachother and went to the yard at different times.

first yard I was at was amazing was there for 12 years had large school, xc field although hacking was not great, it had internal stabling block and security tack rooms, sadly farmer sold it. next yard was 2 mins down the road had 2 yards and mine were stabled in a wooden block with court yard, fields were crap over crowded, hacking was crap and the school was ok but the people... don't even get me started. i left as soon as I could drive and although yard i have been at for 3 years is 20 mins away, I love it..
we have amazing hacking which has no boundries and can go for miles around countryside. we have large fields to ride in, a little jumping paddock a very small school, but does the job and we have loddin american barn. YO is one of my closest friends and there are only a couple of pain in the ass owners but they are tolerable. I would not move anywhere else. horses have two fields one for summer, one for winter all electric fenced (for sash sweet itch) and on a hill perfect to keep justin joints unstiff.

Hey I used to live in glos and the yard there had great facilities, A small indoor, a largish outdoor, a jump paddock for the summer and a large cross country course through 4 fields! However there were too many horses for the amount of grazing and a lot of arguments. a lot of nice people but also quite a few not so nice and tended to gang up on other people. One person was asked to leave as "they needed the stable empty" or something, well it wasn't empty for long. we were there for 4 years though and it was close to my house :)
Then moved to leicestershire and now am at a medium sized yard with a huge outdoor school and jump paddock and horse walker. The YO is really nice and the people are really friendly :) hacking isn't great as you need to walk 20mins on a busyish road to go anywhere but once you get on this park it is amazing. hundreds of acres with no road :) so glad we're here now and will be moving our 2 year old there next weekend :D (he is at a stable and field nearby atm)

Ours is a nice place, we have american style barns, tackroom, school and really good hacking. Some of the people are a bit funny but its generally a great yard

We move around quite a bit (hubby in the RAF) we've stayed on some pretty good yards and some real s**t tips but what i do know is that good people and good horses can be found in all of them!

Im at a lovely little place although recently some of the liveries have really kicked off bigtime with each other creating a bit of an atmosphere, luckily one of the troublemakers is moving next week so it should all settle down again - I hope! Otherwise the rest of us all get along great and I love it. It has an outdoor school which is currently being extended and resurfaced, although I like to school in the jumping field as its good for my horsey as he events so keeps him level headed on grass! We have a swedish brand indoor stable block with a variety of sized stables to keep all happy. (Im lucky to have the biggest hehe!) Grazing is absolutely fab, more hilly fields for canter work. Hay and straw available onsite. Eeerm oh we also have a new lungepen and starvation (or whatever you may call them) paddocks for any lammi ponies. GREAT YOs too.
However like I said there has been some drama recently that everyone could have done without, happens everywhere though doesnt it??
Not sure if you wanted/needed to know this but its also £20 a week livery. lol

Its ridiculous isnt it. Im sure it has something to do with the weather and all that comes with it eg mud and lack of riding, people get ratty with each other. I just hide in my stable behind my pony when it all kicks off!
