and guess what!

They're all clear....just like Hazels were.

He is completly clear of any parasitical infections, Salmonella etc.

He does not meet any of the criteria for Botulism, Grass sickness and a load of other things he said....

Basically, they havn't the foggiest idea what happened. Ive asked him to go back to the pathologists at the big lab and ask someone to make a guess! i just want a name.

There's no treatments that havn't been tried that can be given so ill just carry on caring for Loui and hope he carries on picking up. He still quiet but is eating and drinking with a better coat now and better stools. fingers crossed! no-one else has become effected either so hopefully it has run its course...whatever it was!

Thought you'd like to know :)

Is Loui one of the TB's you recently took in?
I remember seeing your pic post of 2 young TB's, thought they had real potential!

no Loui is the shetland that got it at exactly the same time as murphy. Luoi managed to hold on while Murphy unfortunatly couldn't fight. Loui's still getting there but not wanting to jinx anything yet!

The two mares and everyone else are doing great! going to have some weight gaining to do come spring though! couldn't stable all i wanted with so many ill this year...

That is so strange that results came back clear, very frustrating for you to have no answers!
Glad the TB's are fine, ive got a bit of a soft spot for them both!
