Hi,
I need a new rug for Libby as hers will not last another summer. She doesn't suffer from sweet itch but she does get terrible bites on her neck and shoulders and these last for about 3 or 4 months. The vet said she has an allergic reaction to the bites and to apply repellant and get her a fly rug. When I apply repellant she gets more bites:shocked:I have tried every make under the sun. She had a combo fly rug but still managed to get a few bites as the flies seem to be able to get to her neck.
I am thinking that a boett or something similar will be more fitted around the neck so harder for the flies to get to her.
So would you reccomend a boett or the cheaper alternative? She isn't overly careful in her rugs so I know that she will rip whatever she gets so would I be wasting money on a boett when she doesn't actually have sweet itch?
