Sire: White Heat (USA)
Dam: Universal Miss (NZ)
Sire of dam: Andrel (NZ)

Breeder: Brywins Standardbred

And how do I go about finding where he came when he raced?
Rough Diamond (Formerly Brywin's Red Rock)

Track: Tregaron 5/5/08

Sorry I just don't know how to go about finding either.
If you find either, thank you very much, and could you link/URL me?

I can tell you a bit about him.

White Heat was imported from America about 8 years ago. His father, Artsplace, is one of the best in the world. But White Heat never raced very well. He was popular over here but mainly, I think, because he was a grey and at the time there were very few grey Standardbreds in this country. His foals have been a bit of a disappointment in my opinion. He's had some good ones, but a lot of them are pretty slow. They tend to be very big, very strong, with masses of stamina but not speedy.

Universal Miss bred one excellent foal and a lot of pretty average ones.

Just looked up Cochyn's record, but not sure how accurate it is... He raced 10 times in 2008 - none as far as I can make out in 2009. Of those 10 runs, he won 2 races, came 3rd three times, and came 4th once. He won about £500.

As long as he didn't pick up any injuries during training I would have a go at racing him again if he came my way. I'd drop him into a lower division and I reckon he'd win some races.

They say horses by White Heat are very late maturers who often look rubbish until they're 7 or 8. Possibly true.

Sorry about the essay!

AWW no thankyou!!
He has shinsplints. But my vet says, he doubts it will ever ocourr again, and also he has now been trained to trot rather than pace, however whenever I first get on him he paces and when he is a little frightend he does it. He also paced all the way home on our hack, and would not stop for me!!!
