Firstly thankyou to everyone who's replied to my posts on weight gain feeds for Molly!!!
In the end her owner put her on Allen and Page Weight Gain Mix, which I was worried would just make her fizzy. But she's actually being ok on it...so far. And she loves it, has it 4 times a day with ad lib hay and literally 2 massive tubs of water (don't lecture me on this, we know she has liver and kidney problems, she's being treated for it).
Managed to get a weigh tape round her on Saturday, 287kgs with a thick winter coat isn't healthy for a 13'2 pony! Even so, hopefully when I weigh tape her again on Saturday it might have gone up by a few kgs! Fingers crossed anyway, for her to put on 1kg would be a blessing after this winter of constantly loosing weight!
