Well as the title says really!! We're starting to look for a little old plodder for my daughter to learn on, no huge rush but if the right one came up....great! Would ideally like to loan as I don't want to spend out a lot of money on a first pony. She will literally be plodding about the lanes and gaining some experience so please all keep your eyes/ears out!! Thanks guys xx

Ah didn't think of the veteran horse society, not so keen on the blue cross as I don't want interference and my friends who have ponies from the blue cross say they can be a right old pain!! xx

WHW.. World Horse Welfare.
Umm yeah I'd say rehoming centers or try asking about at riding schools to see if they're selling any plodders.

Thanks for suggestions!! I'm looking for something 10-11hhish or even a shetty. My daughter is like a beanpole and although she potters about on my horse she needs something trusting she can learn on..................tbh size is not important it's more the nature of the pony, I want her to be able to bring him/her in and groom etc etc xxx
