I don't even know, I've not been excited about seeing her at all, and I wasn't disappointed today. I'm starting to think that although I want a Loony horse, the impressive WB type.. thats not necessary what I need right now. All I can think about when I think about the bay mare is the fact that her owner said she could be nappy when in season.. and it's pathetic but it makes me not want to go.

I've been thinking about a coloured Soph shown me. We'll see. I need to think, my heads everywhere!

I didn't feel you where excited about her, not trying to sound mean or anything but thats just the feeling I got.

But it doesn't matter, the right horse will come along.

ps: what coloured was that?

Jo (chescar) has done a post about him on here, "I like the look of this" or something.

I was thinking of you this morning. I think you should defintely go to see a horse that seems well mannered and nice, even though it's not what you had in mind (not WB). Maybe this will help you decide what you want/need. :)

I think it's really good to look at a wide variety of horses, and not stick to a stereo type. Think of how many times you hear stories on here of people who set out to buy one thing, bought something totally different, but were delighted with it in the end.

What will be will be. I know it is disheartening sometimes when looking for a horse, you have in your mind exactly what you would like even more when buying your first horse as you really have it in your head what you want.
It can all change... I spend 18 months looking for my perfect horse, it had to be flashy, look at me and above all else I wanted something fine and no cobs.. nothing against them but I am only small and thought I would look silly on a hairy cob lol
I viewed very select ones to start with..
In the end after about a year I got sick fed up of my dream horse not coming along and started viewing everything lol

I eventually called up about a Connemara cross and was kind of put off cause he was chunky type as owner said on phone, I went to see him anyway and yeah he was chunkier than a TB type lol but I loved him instantly and almost 15 years on I still have him and you know what HE is my dream horse I have done everything with him (was hard work to start with) SJ, Dressage,Showing and his fav XC and the older he gets the better he gets. Do I wish I bought a TB? to be honest I have never looked back.

View everything, try everything no matter what size and shape and believe me you will find your dream horse but your dream horse may not show you its true colours for a while. (may I add he no TB or warmblood but boy my little hairy legs is flashy and has real look at me attitude)

hang on in there and I really hope you find your dream horse but Looney I have loved reading your posts while on your horse search makes me so excited for you and makes me log on to read. So go out there find your dream horse and keep us all posted about it on the way.

If weather improves go see this mare even if its only to cross her off your list. life is full of could of beens but if its meant for you it won't pass you by.

I'm sure you will find a horse that makes you excited about going to view it. You will know then that if it rides right for you that you will buy it.
When i bought Charlie i hadn't even gone to the stud to look at him, but i just knew when i saw him that he was for me!!
