View Full Version : My visit to Cinders!
Cinders
17th September 2009, 11:44 AM
Yesterday we made the long journey to see Cin, the night before i was really nervous and wondered whether i was making the right decision, thankfully it went really well and i'm so glad i went!
Managed to fix a smile on my face so thankfully there was no tears, although i felt rather emotional seeing her little face again! Cin seemed pretty pleased to see me or maybe she was just pleased to see the bag of carrots i brought her :p she whinnied and started mugging me for carrots
Can't tell you how lovely it was to see her again, she looked exactly how i left her and despite me being the pickiest person ever, no matter how hard i looked i couldn't find even one fault with the way she looked or her care. It was perfect!
It's like a fairytale ending which makes me teary with happiness, she's got the most idealic home, a wonderful owner, miles and miles of beautiful countryside for hacking and a home for life! Her owner adores her and was telling me how proud she feels riding her as everyone admires cinders :) Cin has really fallen on her feet and apart from missing her i thankfully have no regrets about moving her on, she's got the life of luxury!
I did get some pics on my phone but still haven't been able to get them onto the computer, when i do i'll post them :)

So glad to hear that she is happy where she is living now!
I think that would be the worst thing if you weren't happy but like you said if you've now got no regrets shes in the best place she could be!
Can't wait too see the pictures!

thank you, i'm equally happy!
sparkie- hey! i often wondered how you were, don't think i've seen you on here for years! yeh, i sold her back in may this year so not long ago, i do indeed have a new one. Technically moved onto horses 2yrs ago but sadly the TB we bought had lameness issues pretty much from day one and is now retired. But in april i got another new horsey, a neurotic 8yo who's giving me lots of fun and excitement lol what have you been up to since you were last on here? x

I doubt Kirst will be on here for ages so I'll cheekily answer for her and say that yes she still has Simone (as far as I know that is) but she's not ridden anymore as had problems with intermittent lameness (if I remember rightly) and she also now has Molly who she's doing really well with and is very soon going to affiliate - AREN'T YOU KIRSTY!!!! Lol - this could all be wrong but its how I recall it anyway!! xx

I can't believe this thread is from 2009! How time flys.
Wonder if there have been anymore updates on the lovely Cinders? x

lol I was soooo confused when i first saw this, was gonna say i didn't remember posting this!
Can't believe she's been gone 2yrs!
And Welly has pretty much summed it up, still have simone but she's not 100% sound so pretty much retired but still a happy ponio and molly is definitely sticking to the unaffiliated stuff unless she pulls up her socks asap! lol
Pie- haven't heard any more updates recently and haven't seen her since this post as she's quite far away but last i heard she was being spoilt and loved very much!
