I thought I would update on Morag as haven't mentioned her for ages.

It feels like months since I've had either a decent hack or a decent lesson.
Our YO has been creating a new indoor school, which took 2 months to do over the summer time which well rained so hacking & school have been out.

Mo has lost weight which is great & she looking super trim.
Aunty Kaz came & visited on Saturday there & we all went out on a super hack. Kaz got to ride Barney, our friend Laura's horse, she rode Chester and we took Kaz around the gallops. I think Kaz was trying to steal Barney, but it's only me that loves Mo. (And it is no excuse that you are too tall for her Kay!!)

However, on Sunday she went lame. Her fetlock was swollen & hot and last night I trotted her up and she seemed sound. However, once of the RDA clients was having a lesson on her as he is going to do the Scottish Nationals on her & I believe she is still lame. I was texted to say that they now think it might be a strained ligament:(

So it looks like she will be off for another week. So typical the weather has turned nice & I was planing a lovely hack on Monday for the holiday.

Anyway, I have added a pic of her to my sig in case you all forgot what she looked like. I like this one, the first pic I have of me cantering although my leg does appear to far back, so please excuse that.

Thanks guys, I hope so too. I really want a lesson but either it's raining & the outdoor school is swimming, the indoor school not finished although it is now, but it's not settled yet & is very deep. Or she's lame. GRRR.

I'm looking forward to seeing you too Amanda. x

Oh no, sorry to hear it Karyn. They have unbelievable timing. Mags has his touch of arthritis, but he is actually a very sound horse as he is well managed, and in the two and a half years I have been riding him he has never been lame. Then this summer I had a show planned and he managed to do something in the field and was off for nearly a fortnight! Or he manages to pull a shoe on the day that I go up really keen to ride!

Get well soon to her!

So frustrating how times come along when you can't ride for whatever reason, and just when you get the chance, something else goes wrong!

Sorry to hear about her lameness, hope it clears up soon. Looking forward to meeting you tomorrow!!
