Neo at our yards fun show

[Aeia]

We had a little fun open show at our yard a couple of weeks ago. I was just going to enter Neo in an inhand class, but as he's been good ridden he also went into a best gelding ridden class. There weren't many show entries, most were there for the jumping. But we came second out of 3 in both classes. I couldn't ride or lead him as I'd only had surgery on my foot a couple of weeks prior!

He stood around most of the day without too much of a fidget. When he did fidget I took him for a graze and with a full belly he soon calmed down. When he gets bored tied up he starts to paw and gets his foreleg over the fence then stands there looking stupid!!

He's coming on brilliantly. While I've been off riding he's been ridden by a very confident girl who's got him through his bucking stage. I hacked him out for the firts time in weeks yesterday and he was so calm and laid back. Nothing phased him. We led all the way and he seemed to be thoroughly enjoying himself:kiss:
