It's a Cliff Barnsby 17" narrow/medium in black. I picked it up last night and it is beautiful. I was so excited I rushed up the yard afterwards to try it on Zeb (I really need to get out more ) and stood there admiring it for all of two minutes before the lights cut out, of all the bloomin days!:rolleyes:
So I don't have any piccies of it on him to show you yet but here is one of it at home:
Saddler is coming to check it over on Saturday so please cross your fingers for me that it will be right for the both of us! :p

Ooh that looks really nice!!
What kind of horses are these saddles suited too?? ie, high withered, low withered or norm?

Peerielee they are suited to narrow, high withered TB types.

Saddler has just been, it doesn't fit. It's too narrow for him. Gutted :(
on the positive side she said that since she last fitted my GP saddle his top line has improved and the muscle wastage he had round his withers has reduced a lot. With the condition he's currently in she classes him more of a medium than a narrow, not bad for a veteran at the end of winter!
I asked her what she thought it was worth and she quoted me the same price I paid which was a relief. She wouldn't take it though as she doesn't have the demand for this type of saddle so I will be relisting it on eBay.

Thats a shame but at least your didnt pay over the odds for it and its good to know he has actually gone up a size and not gone down,
Its a shame im used to ride a horse in a Barnsby dressage just like that one and it was a lovely thing to ride in
