Easter Show at the local stables

Before you ask, i didn't take Annie! Wish I did though, i bet she would of loved it. Shame she can't jump
Made me soo happy though because everyone was coming up to me like 'wheres your horse? Why haven't you brought her!' Lol hehe.

It was an informal 'fun' show, as it was just at the riding stables, but anyone can take their horses, its great fun.

Lol my cousin popping Jim over a warm up jump, shes only jumped a few times, shes always hacked and never schooled or anything!






He's supposed to be a Warmblood and he was imported from Holland and sold to the lady whos got him now for £2,000 as apparantly he wouldn't jump. Yet he did SJ & XC on this day!! A lot of people offered alot of money for him today, the yard owner who events asked to buy him and if not said she would event him for his owner!!

Super pony Bracken! Little 13hh came 3rd in chase me charlie, she got to just under 4ft She was amazing! She wins the speed classes all the time, i've never seen a horse go so fast into a jump or round a SJ course its scary lol. Shes for sale cos shes just brill at jumping

Now Jim truly did show his talent at chase me charlie, he was fantastic. Livvy rode him and he just was popping them all in a chilled collected canter, stepped over them like the was nothing! He is such a big lad though.


Now for a horse that apparantly 'can't jump' ... I beg to differ He just found it all so easy, he did XC for the first time too and went around like a dream! .. Ok I must get back to my cob now before i fall for a warmblood that i wouldn't be able to handle haha!

Yeah was just spare of the moment thing with Jim, he'd never actually jumped that high but he was loving the SJ and chase me charlie was just for a bit of fun but he just wanted to keep going he was loving it! & for the yard owner to want to bring him on for eventing is just great, bet his old owners will be kicking theirselves!

Jim is gorgeous. Looks like a really fun day, I wish they did informal shows somewhere near me because I get nervous as soon as I even think about putting on a show jacket.

I know what you mean, in a silly way it probably relaxes you more aswell! I prefer it that way, i don't own any show jackets or clothes for that matter x
