The show update!!

Have the day off work to recover from a rather hetic wkend...hats off to those who show on a regular basis

Saturday was spent preparing for sunday armed with my fairy liquid and ariel excel and bottles of warm water i headed to the yard ready to do battle with the grass and poo stains on jazz's white bits!!

The ariel will have to stay my horses smelt absolutely lovely in fact the whole yard smelt of ariel lovely...lol

Half 7 sunday morning called the horses in from the field jazz had lost his tail bandage and managed to get some poo on his tail and stains down his back legs but otherwise came in clean was happy that didnt have to scrub him to much again...

Carn was being ridden over to the show so they were prepared 1st and sent on their way while i waited on the yard with a rather anxious jazz packing up my car with the days must haves waiting for my friend to arrive to hitch up the trailer..

We all arrived at the show the same time luckily jazz had travelled well the practice had helped settle him a bit more in the trailer though he still sweats mega amount but he would have time for the sweat to dry before our class or so i thought!!

Yesterdays show was one of many emotions for me...i was left fuming as i missed my 1 and only class for jazz the lady from my yard who took me only came back with my registration telling me my class was already in the ring!!!! I changed almost as fast as superman in the trailer but it was pointless i went into my class but they had already done their show and were lined up with the judge picking out who she liked so i was absolutely fuming about it but in retrospect it was a positive introduction for jazz for shows...my god he was stunning in his class really strutted his stuff for the whole 2mins we were in there...out of the ring though jazz was a pain hes so highly strung that just holding on to him just knackered me out totally so i was glad to send him back home so i could have a rest!!

Carn however my little angel was an absolute star it was his 2nd ever show and he had an absolutely fantastic day...he went into a M&M class and came 2nd then i took him into couple pony classes in the afternoon he went in most handsome male and came 1st then the last class was pony the judge would most like to take home and he came away with another 2nd so although the show was a bit of a disaster for myself and jazz it was totally brillant for carn AND we might be in the paper our last class we all had our picture taken and as it was a kiddies pony class i'm sure that will get into the paper sooooo cant wait to see

Anyway sorry for going on & on you'll get use to the fact that i'm long winded sometimes lol lol

I was so upset that missed the class with jazz after all the effort that went into getting him ready as well..but it was all good experience for him hes only 4yrs old so its all new and exciting for him

But my little carn had a fantastic day out he was so well behaved and gorgeous dear of him...

Aw as I said in my pm it was such a nuisance missing your class after all your hard work but glad you had good results with your other pony. There is always a next time!
