Default Went on a horse simulator today.....

at the new Robinsons store in Basingstoke.....what fun!! The point of it was to try out the GFS saddle they had on display. Lovely soft leather and soooo comfortable but at £950 I don't think I will be going for it!

The horsey simulator did walk, trot (slow and fast) and canter (slow and fast) and it was quite comfy, I could have sat in the canter mode for hours !

No good for learning to ride on though because to slow it, you have to yank as hard as you can on the reins

I gave it a pat when we stopped though without even thinking that I was on a pretend horse....force of habit

I had a go on "Robocob" once when they had it at our local tack shop... didn't go as far as giving it a pat though!

I quite fancy a go on one but not sure where you could, i like the idea of being able to try out new saddles on them to see how they sit you, although im sure robbies dont have it in all the time

That's so something I'd do!! I patted Ross the other day at a show He was not amused.

I'd love to give one of those a go. Wonder when my robbies is getting one...

I'd love one at home but apparently they cost around £20,000 !!!!! Will have to stick to my real ones
