Default session 6 of backing- first hack out!plus Pig update

well B is totally cool with people getting on and off and wiggling about and putting their weird puny legs on her sides
suppose she thinks shes doing us a favour as we are weird looking creatures with 2 legs missing so carrying us about for a while aint so bad.

so today we went out down the lane. she was chilled out and J said her back was lovely and relaxed

all was fine until we got to the narrower part of the road and there were 3 kids in the bushes and UP IN ONE OF THE TREES in the little wood area up the bank by the roadside

she grew to 19h and her nostrils were going like mad. J said she could feel her entire body shaking with her heart rate.

so i went and stood near to the bushes and B relaxed a little bit, her head came down.

i called her and she walked on as the kids came out the wood and went back up the road. she relaxed completely and we carried on with our hack

what a very very good girl!

tomorrow shes getting ridden around the field and J is going to have a little trot on her! so the camera is coming out for that one! the lane is too stoney and the menage is far too deep at the moment...

some pics of her chillin out!

Glad to hear she's going well. She looks great.

lol @ the kids in the trees. When I was long reining Ollie we got hit by a football! Wasn't malicious or even intentional - woke us both up!

yeah
B had her first ride in the rain today.
she was cold and annoyed as she hates being wet (she had a lw rug on but she obviously wanted more on!)
we didnt lunge today, J just got straight on her. she was a bit more sparky than normal as she was annoyed about being wet and cold, but her back stayed nice and relaxed.
went straight out for a hack down the lane. saw man with a brolly and she was very good. she was snorting most of the way round but never put a foot wrong.
then we went into the big summer field and walked around the outside of it. b was very confused about going downhill with someone on board though! again she didnt put a foot wrong, despite Kaya hooning about next door thinking she may be coming in the grassy field next! lol.
doing leading work and loading work over the weekend and then more riding out and a trot around the field!
