Default Another successful day out with the Ic-man! Report and Pics!
This time i had Mairi with me for moral support! (and someone to chat to in the queue for the burger van - yum! 8) )Hopefully mairi will put a few of her photos up later.

I'm just going to have a little winge - i need to get it out! lol. The showground wasnt fab. The rings were rutty, there wasnt any warm up area apart from one sand school where the sand was so deep Icarus struggled to do one lap in walk before i gave up. It was so deep it was dangerous - someone could rip a tendon in there! Apart from that the organisers where nice, the judge knew what she was talking about and the rosettes and trophies were really nice (oh yeah, that's right! We've got some! 8) )

So i used the first class (M+M ridden) as a warm up class because it was the only vaguely flat area to work in. I was surprised when Icarus came 2nd! Hurrah!

Then there was a bit of hanging about, had a burger (very important for stamina purposes!) and a cup of tea then we had ridden cob/cob type. Icarus, having used the last class as a warm up went quite nicely and we WON! woo! We got a lovely glass trophy too. He's a star! :love5:
