Default Possible new home for Dollie

Was chatting to friend who I am buying the trailer from who lives in Inverness and was saying to her that Dollie my Welsh Sec B is for sale, she told me a friend of hers was looking for a new pony and Dollie seemed like the perfect description.
This girl has her own land and has a Fell pony who sounds as laid back as Jack, she is looking for something to have fun with, she loves jumping but her Fell is much more of a plod. She is 5 foot and around 7 stone (lucky lady!)

She has 2 quite young kids and would hope by the time they are old enough to ride perhaps Dollie will have settled a bit.

So to me it sounds promosing, I always said Dollie would be an adult ride, she needs a confident rider and someone who she can trust/rely on.

So I have to take pics of her tomorrow and forward to potential buyer.

Im really relucant to sell Dollie as she has come on in leaps and bounds recently, she has so much trust in me (now she knows not all humans want to harm her).

But she is a fiesty girl with lots of potential, I truely believe if she had a job in life she would thrive and grow confidence.

I can see her flying around a course of jumps and absolutely loving it, given the correct owner.

So fingers crossed this will be a good match, I will be so sad to see her go but I took her out a bad situation watched her mature and gain trust in human and hopefully I can pair her off to someone who can take her riding to a new level.

Ill post the pics I take of her tomorrow, Im hoping you will see a big difference in her from last summer.

Awwww, VM that is great news but sad too.

I really thought that you might keep her after your mum saying that too. But your right she probably would thrive having a job to do and shes such a pretty wee thing too, would do well showing aswell.

Fingers crossed. And if it doesnt work out, you can always have her back.

Id love to keep her home at mine forever, but that would be selfish, she has grown so much in confidence, mentally and physically I know she is feeling rather bored now, I refuse to do what some would and put her in foal to keep her entertained, calm her down (and make a buck or two!) I know she has love and joy to give to the right person, if I were 2 stone lighter and a foot shorter she'd be going nowhere!!!!!

But for sure if she didnt work out in new home Id have her back straight away, I will be writing some sort of agreement out between me and new owner so she never falls into the wrong hands, if anyone knows how I can go about this please let me know.

Thats what makes you a brilliant owner, far to many these days are doing this just for the sake of it, there is no need for it.

Thaks Rhea, she'd probably have a very attactive foal, but there are enough horses out there imo.
