It has just hit me that Vinny is now a veteran

Luckily he hasn't realised yet.

Took these yesterday. How is he looking? I can't really be objective any more. I'm either panicking that he's too fat or too thin.









My aunt had a go on him the other day. She hasn't ridden for over 40 years, and she is not the fittest or most agile of individuals. I still do not know to this day how we managed to get her on board.. We had enough trouble getting her off! I did think for a moment that she might be on him forever.
She wants to trot next time

Will put up some of Hasty soon, don't worry. He is not that photogenic so Vinny has been hogging the camera.

he certainly doesnt look (or act his age) is looking very good, and very muscular

I would say he was a little on the leaner side considering the time of year- I personally would like a little more on him (not much mind you!) however I am not into racing or anything so I could be completely wrong and he look like he should

lovely pics- I love the pic of his face peeping out the stable knowing he is going racing!!

hes looking good..your aunt was a bit like me the other day..had trouble getting on then after was like...too stiff to get off..,yet i've ridden more this year than ever....

I think he is in tip top fitness condition. He looks better covered in some of the pics than in others though. That first pics looks absolutely perfect, but in a couple of the others I'm maybe say he could do with a smidgen more weight. But that is from a looks point of view. Perhaps for racing fitness he is better as he is.
