Default The First Picture To The Last..

I like seeing these threads!

Please post one of the first pictures you took of your horse plus a little info for new members, and then a recent one. It doesn't have to be the very first, something that you think will show off the difference better is fine, for example a headshot to show weight loss would be silly!

It'd be interesting if you guys could show a body shot and a ridden pic too but please no more than 4 pictures for each horse (2 before, 2 after).

Here goes

Toffee....
Only got a first pic!

Champ.....
Now 19 year old welsh x arab gelding. Came to me in Jan 2008 in a poor state. Now doing lots of ridden work, jumping and local shows.

February 2008

May 2009

April 2010 at a show

Dina....
Purchased as an eight year old unhandled pure arab in March 2008. Has since got used to being handled, caught, trusting humans, backed, ridden away and won at national shows!

Day she came home March 2009

One of our first shows July 2009

Winning at a arab affiliated show April 2010

and again april 2010

Bridie (RIP sweet girly)
Taken on loan as a rescue project ages 15 in July 2004. Bridie was the fattest pony I had ever set eyes on (and still is to this day) very poorly with laminitis, it was touch and go, but with TLC she became a kind happy hacker and lead rein pony. Sadly put to sleep in March 2010 due to arthritis which left her in constant pain and ems which upset her laminitis.

January 2005 (First time I thought to get the camera out!)

July 2007

May 2009 : arguably looking her best ever

I think that is enough!

Jane I love seeing your showing pics. Methinks you should do it much more

I got Saffy in July 2008 as a 4yr old, lightly ridden away, scared-of-peoplerugstacketc mare. This was the first photo I ever took of her. It was in the stable at the dealer's yard.

2yrs of tlc and hard work...et voila

Bails is looking more toned already Loon.

Firsstly my baby boy, I cannot believe the change in him.

The day Sasca got him (hope you don't mind me using this Sarah!)

Early August so I'd had him a couple of weeks

December, so I'd had him about 6 months

And now, he looks so happy and healthy

He looks like a totally different pony!

And Mac, more than anything Mac attitude has changed a lot in the time I've had him and because of this his condtion has improved too as he no longer worries weight off. He came to me a stressed out, neurotic, out of work ex-racer and now he's a chilled out happy hacker who enjoys his life and takes it all in his stride.

Mac ridden in october 2005 about 5 months before I bought him, he looks a little bit manic!

And the most recent pic I have of him, he's chilled out a lot

Don't have any pictures of his condition when I got him as my computer died but he had a shocking clip (it was april), no muscle and a massive wormy looking belly.

And now,
