Everythings gone orange!

*Before i start i know the draw reins are tight in some pictures but i wasn't holding them that tight as shown in photos where Magic is more relaxed and no i don't use them every session*

He wasn't really in the mood today and he hasn't gone brilliantly since i got this dressage saddle, it seems to fit him but he just doesn't like it for some reason so i'll be going back to schooling in his GP saddle. Anyway i haven't posted ridden pictures for ages so thought i'd get a few stills from todays videos.

Hope you don't take this the wrong way but it could be your position in the dressage saddle that Magic doesn't like, in some of the pics you're leaning quite a long way back and you look quite tense in a lot of them so it could be that you're almost trying too hard and therefore he's setting against you. He looks fab in orange though, makes him look really striking!

Not taken the wrong way at all I actually find the saddle really hard to ride in, it's completely different to the isabell werth saddle i had which i found easy to ride in. I won't be keeping it because neither of us seem happy with it.

shame about the saddle but if it doesnt suit you and makes you lean, it wont suit him...

he suits the orange gently pad and wraps!
i dont think the draw reins are over-tight tbh- they are just coming into play when he is coming up against the hand, but a clear loop when he isnt.
