Default OMG! I Jumped Una!! The PICS

SO SOOOOOO proud of my little mare tonight!! She is a superstar!! We JUMPED!!!

She has had a couple of jumping sessions on the lunge, literally like 3 jumps But tonight god knows what possessed me, but i thought it was about time to have a go at jumping her from on board I'd forgotten how bloomin' scary it is jumping a horse for the very first time, even if we were just doing tiny jumps But, can I just say again how wonderful she is? I know, i know, its boring now But literally everything i ask her to do she does with no argument or fuss, that is a good horse, right?? And she even perks up a lot when theres jumps about, she loves her jumpies Usually its kick kick kick kick kick to get her to trot on a hack, no such happenings tonight!!

My batteries died after i took the first video the below stills are from (video in vids forum). Really annoyed cos we finished off popping an upright using the black bucket things as wings to give you an idea of height, id say about 2'6ish, with a white sheet draped over it to see how she is with fillers And she just pinged that! The friesian needs a meaty jump to really show off over!! B****y camera recorded about 2seconds before battery died and it turned off

And for anyone who isnt able/doesnt want to watch the video, here's some stills:

And here's my boootiful baby afterwards, waiting patiently for her wash down:

All cooled down and off to investigate the pug!!

She came to help me dismantle the jumpies:

And we watched Charlie roll, Una doesnt really roll so she always seems to find this fascinating lol

Having a grooming session

Una noticed the camera and had to come over!

Charlie, elegant as ever!!

And Una doing what she does best, making a mess!! Thank god Delilah wasnt still in the crate!!!lol

Thanks guys, she is just perfect, i am very lucky!!

I have to admit to a little secret...!!! Im hoping, if all goes to plan, to have her confident enough over small jumps to enter her in the local (as in 5 mins hack away!!) hunter trial in October!! Its only tiny jumps, but lots of scary things like ditches and barrels, so that would certainly be a good education for her!!! Then maybe a couple of unaffiliated SJ shows through the winter, then if all goes to plan she'll be turned away for a couple of years whilst she has the next generation superstar baby
