Default Fleck's Injury from start to finish :)

FINALLY, Fleck is now back in the field after her horrific leg injury 4 months ago. She has no bend in the leg anymore but it is a possibility that it could get better with time.
She will never be sound as her leg was so badly damaged but she isn't in pain and she is coping really well back out in the field. She is even right back in charge of Smudge and Milly so she is feeling well.

Here are the pictures of the healing process...Please be warned, they are nasty!!!

after 2 weeks at minster vets in york...back at home:

And finally out in the field after 4 months box rest:

She's so happy to be back out with Milly and Smudge. I was so nervous though, i thought she would fall over because her leg doesn't bend but its amazing how well she has adapted.

Ill post a video of her new gait soon!

My gosh how on earth did she do that (sorry have been away from EW for ages)!!!

Poor Fleck but it's super to see how well that has healed, bless her.

Bl**dy hell, how did that happen?

I think I would fall apart if that was my horse. Well done for coping so well.

Really pleased you took all those photos, it is really interesting to see how a wound like that can heal so well, if looked after so well. Credit to you.
