Thumbs down Bruises!!!!!

owwwwww! I fell off during my riding lesson on Wednesday lower back swollen and black and blue can't move much. Horsey jumped higher than I expected, it was towards the end of the lesson so I think I had switched off a bit too

Bit depressed now after such a good lesson last week now feel rubbish about my riding. Will ask advice about jumping balance and position in appropriate place. But thinks I might be getting a bit old for this jumping lark i really don't bounce anymore. For now just need a bit of TLC. Dosed up wth Cocodomol and Ipobrofen at the minute

Oof!! Get yourself a hot water bottle and put it behind your back when you're sat down. Try and lie on your stomach when you can too.

Don't let it knock your confidence. Everyone falls off more jumping that doing other things, especially learning! The more you do, the more balance you'll have and the easier you'll find it to sit to odd jumps. It definitely doesn't make you a bad rider Try to keep your centre of gravity in your bum () and weight in your heels. Grab a bit of mane before the jump if you feel more secure. Easier said than done I know but it'll definitely come with time!

I hate it when people think they are too old to jump! No one is ever too old to jump!
Anyways I'm relying on you to take me riding so get better soon and definatly agree about the hot water bottle!
