Talking A great afternoon at our first Dressage Clinic

Well we have had the best afternoon! My instructor (Anita) arranged a dressage clinic at her yard with her instructor (Andrew) so Zebedee and I went along to take part. This is the guy I had a lesson with on one of his horses for my birthday and God it was hard so I have been looking forward to having a lesson with him on Zebedee.

Got to the yard at lunchtime and Zeb was mightily unimpressed at being left in the barn on his own, he didn't seem upset, just ****** off So There's me thinking oh dear we're gonna have a tense ponio for our lesson but I have to say he was an absolutely star. I am SO pleased with him, we've hardly done any schooling over the last six weeks but as soon as we walked into the school he did everything I asked

Andrew helped me to use my schooling whip more as I am nagging too much with my leg which I know I do but never realise it at the time to try and stop He helped me refine my rein contact which I am now much happier with and we also cracked sitting trot!

I thoroughly enjoyed myself, learnt loads and we had absolutely stunning weather, so happy!

Cat

p.s. putting pics up now!
