Im still in Central West NSW, Australia working on a polo yard. We do have lots and lots of broodmares, foaling at the moment and many youngsters being worked, along with playing ponies, yearlings etc etc!
I love this place, every day i learn something new. Im grooming at a game at the weekend which should be a fun social event as well as great opp to watch some high goal polo!
Anyway, here's the pics!
Good morning Australian winter! Back in July.
Out my bedroom window.
The mares we had in at night under lights, soon to be in foal. The chestnut is my favourite, a 3yr old called "Wink" aka "Wonky" who hit her head during breaking and is now a very very "special" girl.
Checking the 2yr old fillies.
During the 4 weeks in Richmond where our 4 yr olds were playing Chukkas.
My favourite 4yr old, Viper, turned out at home after a hard 4 weeks of learning to be a polo pony.
Another favourite, Valentine, following Viper's lead.

Letting off some steam.
Some of our 3 yr olds learning to hard tie in the round yard.
Second foal born during my time here!
Me and our friendly neighbour, Mister Cocky the Gallah.

You sound to be having a really fantastic time - as has already been said, you are going to be left with some amazing memories from this trip, I am so so pleased you went for it. When do you have to come back to the UK? How long have you been out there now, I think it was 18th May you went wasn't it? If I am right I remember it because thats my birthday and seem to think you went the same day?! xx
