Default Prelim 12

I bought the set of prelim tests ages ago from BD and I'm thinking about doing prelim 12 in December and it appears they didn't bother sending me that one. Sooo, I've been watching videos of people doing it on youtube (including Caz on Oscar and Tia! Youtube recommended them for me, you're famous!) and think I've got everything down but just got 2 questions to confirm some movements:

1: The first transition to medium walk - is it AT M or between C and M?
2: Changing the rein in canter - do you trot at X, before X or after it?

Thank you

transition to medium walk at M then do the half circles B to X X to E then free walk half circle E to B before M trot

Canters both trot just after X if your going to get a naff transition though as she bcomes unbalanced over the center line sacrafice a few accuracy marks for breaking early to give you more time to rebalance for the corner to set up for the next canter

myerscough are doign ti this weekend on sunday are you going? Ive got a pupil doing her first test hopefully it goes well

Thanks! No it's not Myerscough unfortunately, it's Leigh and district riding club that have their winter dressage at my yard. I'm going to put her in the green horse class which is intro B and then I can choose between prelim 7 or 12. I've done 7 before a few times so thought I'd give 12 a go. They have a Prix Caprilli class too, will do a post about that actually.

12 is quite a ncie test its realitvely busy but short theres lots of things to be doing which i always found helped with things that get bored and make thier own fun like dennis or switched off and you couldnt shift again like Ollie

Yeh I think the canters being close together will be good for her. Her upwards transitions are a lot better if she's just done a downwards one.
