Default Our 2010 and what a year it has been!

Well what a year it has been for Sully! Here are some piccies!

The start of the year wasn't great due to the loss of Pippin and Hazel and things were terrible with the yard owners and all to top it off Sully had a horrific accident in the field!

My poor lad cut his leg open and had to spend three hours at the vets to get stitched up. This was 2 weeks after his stitch up and he was doing so well with all the box rest and treatment he had to have

After 8 weeks of box rest the moment came where i could ride him again! I was incredibly emotional at this point as the vet told me (as he was taken off the trailer to get stitches) he may lose his leg so this was a very big moment for me and him.

In the early summer i decided to come back to jumping training where i got my confidence in jumping him.

This then lead to our first show of the season where i was doing novice jumping

And being placed.............
2nd!!!!

Then we went on to go to our friends yard where i went into novice and pairs with a sully lookalike.

We got 4th! in the novice!

And 3rd in pairs!

The show season had ended and i wanted to do some XC before the new year to see what he was like and he was.......AWESOME!

overall that has been our year! and i hope there is plenty more to come with my noble steed! Love you Sullivan <3 MWAH!

He really is a fab horse! He has a kind eye and just looks like a big gentle giant of a horse! You both look great in your pictures and i'm glad it was a happy ending for you both x

aww thank you! it has come with a lot of practice and i have not had the best times in jumping so i went to a very good friend of ours who gave me lessons on him and really bought back my confidence on him. I never used to breathe when i went round a course in jumping but now i am so relaxed and remember to just sit up with shoulders back and he will take care of me
