Copper and Lucky on the road

On Monday we took Copper and Lucky out on the road (theres a post in General Equestrian Chat)

We took them out again on Tuesday and the were both really good again. Lucky was strong again even with the rope round his nose but its because he is really excited about it. Copper did well too, it occurred to me on walk yesterday that it was his 3rd hack being ridden and the first hack out was August 2009 when he was backed.

Here are the pictures!! The ones on the road are blurry because I was walking as I took them.

Lucky is a cracker and copper looks super, very grown up the pair of them.

The rope around the nose thing might not work as well because it doesn't look like its on right, I pulls the leadrope up and around the nose in front of the head collar then down through the side of the head collar, I think this works better x

I love long manes!! Couldn't own a horses that needs a short one!

eeek- It would be such a waste if I never taught Copper to drive! I can also see Copper and Kilo working as a pair He is about 14:1 could be bigger. I need to measure haven't for awhile! If it helps you with an idea of size my sister is 5ft 6. I have this feeling he hasn't finished growing yet his is rising 5.

Rhea- Thank you for the info about the rope round his nose! I don't think it works will with his headcollar it just pulls the nose band down instead of the pulling on his nose.
