dressage lesson with judge today,charlie pics

This was a follow up to an evening talk i had been to with with Sue Hendry. I wasnt sure what to expect and actually I was really very nervous before hand cos I thought she'd be mega strict. She chose a prelim test and we each had to ride a section of it at a time while she gave a commentary and then we got to repeat it and try to improve and pick up marks. It was really really good!!

I was so pleased as in our 1/2 20m circles she said one was almost perfect and gave us a 9 I have a habit of cutting corners and coming off the track a bit , which has been mentioned in tests before so she picked up on that. Also, once Charlie has cantered once, he seems to begin to anticipate it and we lose the quality of the trot and he hollows We had some trouble with our downward transitions again,grr,he runs through the bridle a little so we need to work on that.
