Hearing news of horses you have sold

I recently managed to get in touch with the woman that now owns the horse I used to own Doris (veteranponies) did a tracing post on here to find her before I was a member and anyway the new owner is perfect for her, when we got in touch I heard about the showing she;d been doing and how happy she was and that she was in foal and the other day I emailed asking how the pregnancy was as I couldnt remember when she was due and....

Yes, I kept in touch with Ellie when I sold her. Sadly, it didn't work out and she was sold on - I actually had her on loan for a summer while at Uni (I sold her because it was either her or Uni and I was going to a Uni that was in the centre of Birmingham - no place for a horse!) Then she was sold again under my nose at a sales. I put an advert in Your Horse mag a year or so later and got intouch with her new owners. She was so well cared for a loved and sadly I heard about her mistreatment before the new owners bought her. I would like to keep intouch with new owners if I ever had to sell my boys. x

The woman that has her now has been her only owner since she was sold from under me and I couldnt be happier, she calls her Princess Lula, shes very much loved.

What a sweet foal!

I have kept in touch with King Louis's new owner, largely because she is a good friend anyway. She is doing really well with him. I am also in touch with Mr Bushell's owner, for the same reason, and they are loving him. Zeitgeist's new owner is on my FB, and he is very well loved too. So I've been really lucky. I am not in touch with Silver's new owner though. I think it was just easier to keep in touch with the Zim horses because they all went to people I knew anyway.

Misty's old owner keeps in touch too. In fact she will be coming round on Thursday next week to visit.

Although Montys/Wizz wouldn't be bothered I don't think.

Sisco might have, I still talk to Magic and Merlins breeder/owner.

Jester last owner was my mate but she brought him from the sales few weeks before I had him.

She is a gorgeous filly!!

I'm in touch with Copper and Lucky's owner but it does help she is the owner of the local riding stables we go to and my mum is friends with her. I'm not in touch with either of there owners before her.

Unfortunately we are not in touch with all 3 of my old ponies new owners even though Candy has gone to a riding school and she is easy to get hold of if I wanted too.
