Default Central Revolver Bit

Echo's bit arrived today from the bit bank.

When I ordered it I thought it was french link/lozenge type, but now it's here it's actually got a central revolver.

It's got the central lozenge I wanted, but the "peanut" in the middle is spilt in two and rotates independently.

Does anyone use one - what sort of action will it have? It has D rings rather than loose rings.

Ive had one of those, i really like the rotary type bits, my mylers and a few of my otehrs have roating bits in the middle, i find them really good they lke to play and roll them without becoming fussy like they can do with keyed bits and with the mylers casue they dont have a joint it makes them more comfrtable but you still get a bit of idependat movement on the left and right side which you wouldnt get with a straight bar bit

it will just be the same as a french link type bit as its a double joint but he may mouth it better becasue he has something he can play with, if it wasnt jointed and just had a barrel in the middle like myerls then you get a really good clear left and right signal

I had one in Riff and he seemed really good in it but unfortunatly its got nicked before i could give it a test drive.

Its a very flexible bit though and he liked working with it so it should be a good one to try. Obviously though if its not what your ordered and not happy yell at someone lol.
