Anyone going to Badminton?

Just been having a lazy Sunday and decided to check when Badminton was on so I didn't miss it on TV.....then I had one of my random mad ideas I decided I really want to go!!

Only problem is it's 170 miles each way and I'd probably end up going on my own due to lack of horsey friends/relatives/etc. This doesn't bother me, but I wanted to see if you thought it would be a worthwhile adventure? I've only ever been to small-ish local events and have loved watching Badminton on TV since I was a little kid. Was thinking of going on the Friday to catch the dressage as this is what I love most.

What do you think???

I would love to go but I'm far to far away and have three kids in tow. *sigh* One day.....

oooooooh im going, myself and 2 lassies my work with are going. we went a couple of years ago but just went for 2 days it was pretty tiring with all the driving so this time we are going for 4 days.

its great, lots of trade stands too so always get a bargain.

i went to last years with my brother for the sunday, really enjoyed it. Only going to chatsworth this year

I went to my first Badders last year for the XC the weather was not kind and I just HAD to buy and extra 2 jumpers .
Its really worth going as there is so much going on. I wish I was going this year but its the weekend before my wedding and I will just have far too much to do.

im so lucky to live in bristol takes me 30mins to get there so i'll be going on whichever day i have off! more interested in the shopping tho !! xx
