Default What A Difference The Ground Makes!!
Took Basil jumping tonight to the riding club.

I don't usually go to the clear round jumping nights but as we had a disastrous attempt at WHP on Sunday though we needed a bit of practice.

The ground on Sunday was very hard and this didn't agree with Basil - he wasn't very forward going and ended up refusing (something he never does!) and chucking me into 3rd fence.

Tonight we managed 3 clear rounds and he was full of life - so much so I had to drop his reins a ring .

Suprising how much difference ground makes.

It really does make a big difference. Glad he was back on form tonight! What was the chairman doing? Do I need to add him to my hit list?

Lol Gem - SHE thought she could tell me off like a small child because I committed the most terrible of crimes....

Wait for it.......

I wasn't wearing a riding club jumper!!!
