Default Taking Red to his first ever show!

Hi All
Me and Red are off to a show!!! soooo excited! but a little scared!!!

Loaded him yesterday for the first time - the lady said she doesnt normally let owners load their own but - he was brilliant, never even flinched, just followed me into the trailer!
So I have decided to try a very small show and the lady and her husband (who is good with horses and v.strong, just in case...) are also going to be there.

I have just seen the nicest outfit online - please let me know if I can wear......

Beige Jodphurs, brown Jodphur boots, a lovely brown fitted show jacket and a white shirt with the neck bit in (I dont know what thats called)

Red is Chestnut and has four white socks but not legs - his legs are chestnut also so I thought the light jodphurs would be the opposite to him.

Can I wear Jodphurs? Or have I to wear trousers?

Thanks

Sara

Are you taking him in-hand or ridden?

I would wear cream or black trousers BUT the brown fitted jacket would go much nicely with the cream trousers.

Have fun and get some photos!

Alright I didn't know!

I would wear black trousers as this will counter-act his legs with them having white socks.
Also you want to wear a tie and not a stock (which is the neck bit you mention).
