Talking Me and Stan went on a "hack"

Well, we both walked but we walked round the little loop hack on the lanes, about 1.5 miles. I was like this

He was so eager to go that he was out of the gate before I had finished fastening his bridle. I didn't realise that he loved his Saturday morning stroll so much. He was so calm and relaxed to whole way and walking better than he has since the treatment.

I am even thinking that I may be able to ride him short hacks, maybe once or twice a week.

He is definitely semi-retired now but he will be having a lovely life as usual.

Love my boy

That's fantastic news, Jane! How lovely that you are in your rightful place on his back!
(I bet it feels great!) You and Stan are made to be together! (hugs) Nessx

Ness, no I wasn't riding. I took him out in hand. He may only be ridden gently occasionally now, if at all.

May be looking for a second horse now. Keep your eyes peeled.

That's brilliant news He obviously feels well in himself if he's striding out nicely. It's hardly like you'd be a lead weight on his back if you were to get on

I've had a look but I'm either missing it or it's not there - what was the result of the xray he had?
