Default Boredom?

I am trying to solve any problem that would make Star miserable.
So i have thought about the actual problem and pain maybe being arthritus which we are looking into, now im looking into her being bored and depressed!
Now, I know plenty of you must have had horses on box rest and just general ponies who get bored easily, so obviously theres horse toys and boredom breakers, what would you reccommend to keep her occupied for a bit? x

apples in water buckets, swed on a rope, nut ball, walks, likits, lots of one on one attention, you can get these hay net things that hang form the ceiling like a likit, but you have their hay in them so not got the issue of the sugar And also you can get salt likits anyway.

Ermmm will think of some more, thats what we did with mungo, lots of treats and games! Also tried teaching tricks, unfortunately didn't have enough time to complete any

I used a radio when sisco was on box rest, also a mirror is good, treats hanging from the celling.

I have one of those equine decahedron treat balls for Mac as he gets very bored very easily when stabled and it's really brilliant, keeps him amused for hours and you can put anything in it.

Also cheaper options are veg on a string, in water etc. hay in double nets so they have to really work to get it out, cheap footballs are also good if they're playful.
